Photometry

Photometry measures light as the eye perceives it: the physical radiant energy is weighted with the photopic luminosity function V(λ), which peaks at 555 nm (yellow-green). For displays this is the relevant measurement method. Lumen, candela, lux and nit are all photometric quantities.
