The IP rating (Ingress Protection) is an international code (standard IEC 60529) indicating how well a housing protects against solid particles and water. The first digit represents dust (0–6), the second water (0–9). An outdoor LED screen needs a high IP rating (e.g. IP65 or higher); the front and rear of the cabinet may have a different class.
