Alpha 9240C multi-line indoor LED display
The Alpha 9240C is an eight-colour multi-line indoor LED display with a 182.9 x 24.4 cm screen (matrix 240 x 32 pixels). It shows text and simple graphics on 1 to 5 lines with a character height up to 24.4 cm (9.6"). Legacy, replaced by the Alpha 9000 RGB.
Still supported for software and repairs.

The Alpha 9240C shows 26 (1 line) · 26 (2 lines) · 26 (3 lines) · 40 (4 lines) · 48 (5 lines) characters (240 x 32 pixels). Control is via RS232 or RS485 (up to 255 displays on one network); programming is done with Alpha software (the handheld IR remote is for limited diagnostics only).
The Alpha 9240C has built-in speakers with volume control and 16 triggerable sound files, so a message update can be announced with an audible signal.
The Alpha 9240C is a legacy model and no longer available new. For new projects the full colour Alpha 9000 RGB is the current alternative. Daylight maintains and replaces existing units throughout Europe.
