The Alpha Premier Information Display (PID) is a full-color outdoor LED display for variable messages, designed for long-term performance in demanding outdoor environments and bad weather. It shows travel information, safety messages and building communication in 32,000 colors, with a brightness of 4500 nits and a 120° viewing angle, so it stays readable even in bright sunlight.
The unit is available in three matrix sizes (32, 48 or 64 rows x 192 columns) and as a single-faced or double-faced version. The slimline cabinet offers front access via gas shocks, a 6 mm polycarbonate lens and tamper-resistant fasteners. Control is via Ethernet (standard) or wifi, with the Alpha, Ooh!Media or NTCIP software; an ambient light sensor provides automatic dimming.
