Electromagnetic spectrum
Also: EM spectrum
The electromagnetic spectrum covers all electromagnetic radiation, ordered by wavelength or frequency: radio waves, microwaves, infrared, visible light, ultraviolet, X-rays and gamma rays. Visible light is only a narrow band of about 380 to 700 nm within it, the only part our eyes perceive. An LED emits narrow-band within that visible band.
