GOB

GOB (Glue-on-Board) is a technique in which a transparent, protective layer is applied over an assembled SMD screen. That makes the surface resistant to impact, moisture, dust and touch, an advantage with fine pitch and interactive or heavily used screens. Unlike COB, the separate SMD packages are retained.
