TitanETX controller

The TitanETX is a fanless controller board (no fan) for driving Alpha and Excite LED displays. The board has an Intel processor, Ethernet, RS232/RS485, USB and optionally Zigbee and industrial fieldbuses (Profibus-DP, Modbus, DeviceNet). A built-in web server, VNC access and pattern generator allow remote operation and maintenance.

TitanETX controller

The TitanETX is a new-generation fanless controller board for driving Alpha and Excite LED displays. The board runs on an Intel processor (COMExpress module) with 1 GB DDR2 and Compact Flash storage, and is fully passively cooled.

For communication the TitanETX offers Ethernet (up to 1000 Mbit), RS232, RS485 and USB, with an optional Zigbee radio module and industrial fieldbuses (Profibus-DP, Modbus, DeviceNet). Discrete and analogue inputs, a relay output and probes for temperature and luminosity allow process integration.

A built-in web server, Ultra-VNC, pattern generator and supervisor functions (application, COMEx, driver board) allow remote operation, monitoring and maintenance.

Best choice for

  • Driving Alpha and Excite displays with one powerful controller
  • Remote management and maintenance (web server, VNC)
  • Linking to industrial networks and sensors (temperature, luminosity)

Less suitable for

  • Simple text displays that standard software handles

Typical applications

  • Outdoor full-color and Excite installations
  • Industrial environments with network and sensor connections
  • Installations that require remote management
