AlphaVision PC multi-line LED display

The AlphaVision is a modular multi-line LED display system, available as a full-matrix model (fully graphic, 96 to 256 columns x 32 to 128 rows) or as a character-matrix model (24 to 48 characters per line, 4 to 12 lines). Available in red, superbright red or tricolor. Driven via AlphaNET / Alpha protocol.

Still supported for software and repairs.

The AlphaVision is a modular multi-line LED display system. It is available in two versions: full-matrix (fully graphic, 96 to 256 LED columns wide and 32 to 128 rows high) and character-matrix (24 to 48 characters per line, 4 to 12 lines). The LED colour is red, superbright red or tricolor.

The older modular AlphaVision is a discontinued model. The current full-colour successor is the Alpha 9000 RGB series.

What is the difference between full-matrix and character-matrix?

A full-matrix AlphaVision is fully graphic (free pixels, 96 to 256 columns x 32 to 128 rows) for graphics and text. A character-matrix shows fixed character positions (24 to 48 characters per line, 4 to 12 lines) and is intended for text messages.

Which colours are available?

The AlphaVision is available in red, superbright red (SBR) or tricolor (TRI).

Is the AlphaVision still available?
